Trivia Murder Party from JackBox Party Pack 6

This blog post will focus on Trivia Murder Party.

Mechanics of JackBox:

The mechanics of JackBox, Trivia Murder Party, are trivia, team-based, roulette, storytelling, survival, race to the finish, and player elimination.

Experience with Peers in JackBox:

My experience playing the game with a large group was really fun. When I play JackBox, it is with a smaller group so the audience is generally just that 1 extra player. Even though some people talked, I think having a giant audience changed the way the game is played. The audience character can not die but the audience was constantly involved throughout the whole game.

Playing with an audience:

Playing with an audience introduces that extra player to the game. However, that extra player is consisted of all the players joining in as an audience. So those audience can work as a group and earn money to surpass the actual players in the game. For the actual players, I can guess it can be nerve-wracking since no one wants to lose to lose to the audience. Since no one was really communicating, it felt like it was just hoping that everyone else picked the same answer so the maximum amount of points can be earned. The money is earned by what percent of the audience picked the right answer. This could relate to playing the game as Twitch Chat. There is just chaos and someone in the audience can just grief by purposely picking the wrong answers to hold everyone in the audience back.
